My view on leadership is marked by the Nordic values of trust, equality, responsibility and tolerance. It has been shaped by my upbringing as a so called “pattern breaker” and later influenced by my management experience at the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

 I consider leadership a combination of craftsmanship and a reflection of the managers values, ambitions and personality. A competent leader should not only know the “managerial toolbox” – setting  the direction with clear goals, visions and strategies etc. – but also be capable of motivating and creating the best possible environment for the team to flourish and perform. The craftsmanship can relatively easy be learned. However, developing your personal competences takes more than studying the latest books on modern management or taking a course in coaching techniques. Not to underestimate the importance of obtaining new knowledge but to stress the importance of endurance and action when it comes to notable and sustainable change.

Just like the journey through the unique “Skovtårn”, my coaching approach is designed to provide new perspectives and deep insights. The “Skovtårn”, with its 45-meter height and stunning 360-degree views, symbolizes the heights we can achieve together. As you ascend, you are getting close enough to touch the trees at the tower’s core. Similarly, coaching brings you closer to your core values and helps you navigate through your challenges.

My method involves a gradual, reflective process where you start from within, exploring your own “forest” of thoughts and experiences. As you progress, you will rise above the immediate concerns, gaining a broader view and clarity. Just as the “Skovtårn” provides a unique experience, coaching offers a distinctive and enriching journey, leading you to see your personal and professional landscape from new heights.
